Business Networking Dinner - July 17, 2008

There will be another Business Networking Dinner. This time it will be on the mainland.

This dinner is organized by Flat World Sdn Bhd which operates a business platform built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. When entrepreneurs meet and network among themselves, it is the beginning of great things.

The last one I attended in Penang on June 13, 2008 (see an earlier post) was exciting !

We enjoyed a unique style of dinner! We ordered and we ordered from the menu without any limitations. (At the start the management just reminded us about avoiding wastage!)

A total of 24 participants were present including the founder of Flat World Sdn Bhd in person. There were 11 partners and merchants. A total of 12 guests were also present. We were given samples to taste (just like wine tasting) by the fruit juice manufacturer who brought all those boxes (many, really!)all the way from Kuala Lumpur!

Besides the wonderful food and the friendly discussions, I managed to make new contacts and had a field day collecting and giving business cards. My collection included a trophy/souvenir manufacturer, magazine publisher, off shore investment advisor, printer, fruit juice manufacturer, computer specialists, logistic advisor, financial planner, financial controller amongst others.
